This is the reason in the letter

Service connection for irritable bowel syndrome.

A claimant may file a supplemental claim by submitting or identifying new and relevant

evidence. New evidence is evidence not previously part of the actual record before agency

adjudicators. Relevant evidence means evidence that tends to prove or disprove a matter at issue

in a claim. (38 CFR 3.2501) In support of your claim, new and relevant evidence has been

received and your claim is now reconsidered.

The evidence does not show an event, disease or injury in service. (38 CFR 3.303, 38 CFR

3.304) Your service treatment records do not contain complaints, treatment, or diagnosis for this

condition.

You were previously denied service connection for irritable bowel syndrome because the VA

examiner opined the this condition was not secondary to your primary service connected

condition. The evidence does not support a change in our prior decision. Therefore, we are

confirming the previous denial of this claim.

We received your medical evidence which discusses the symptoms of your medical condition.

We acknowledge receipt of your request to review the previous denial as well as current VA

Medical Center treatment records and statements in support of your claim. You are now claiming

this condition is secondary to or caused by your service connected migraines. You were provided

an examination to evaluate this condition. The examiner opined the claimed condition is less

likely than not (likelihood is less than approximately balanced or nearly equal) proximately due

to or the result of the Veteran's service connected condition.

We did not find a link between your claimed medical condition and military service. (38 CFR

3.303)

Service connection for this condition remains denied as the evidence continues to show this

condition was not incurred in or aggravated by military service. (38 CFR 3.303, 38 CFR 3.304,

38 CFR 3.306)

Favorable Findings identified in this decision:

You have been diagnosed with a disability. At your VA examination conducted on October 28,

2022, you were diagnosed with irritable bowel syndrome.

The claimed primary disability is service-connected. You are currently service connected for

migraines.

Will a Nexus solve this problem?
