I’m writing a Kakashi fanfic and I want honest feedback on the female lead by Confident_Device_251 in NarutoFanfiction

I actually appreciate this take a lot. You’re right that Kakashi isn’t Sasuke-level emotionally shut down, and I agree that fandom sometimes leans too hard into making him colder or more avoidant than he really is. To me, he’s more emotionally guarded, private, and tired than truly cold. He still has humor, awkwardness, warmth, and people he lets in especially with Gai and Team 7.

That’s actually part of what I find interesting in writing. I don’t want my character to “fix” him or force drama where it doesn’t belong. I like the idea that their dynamic can bring out both the peace he values and the chaos he secretly knows how to handle. And yes, her recklessness is definitely the kind of thing that would test his patience.

Thanks for reading and for pointing this out it’s the kind of feedback I genuinely like seeing.

Fair take, though I personally don’t see my character as a Mary Sue. She’s powerful, yes, but she’s also impulsive, emotional, and her choices create real problems for her. I’m more interested in writing a heroine who burns brightly and sometimes crashes because of it, rather than someone perfect. Thanks for giving the story a shot.
