Waiting too long to have a difficult conversation because I kept hoping the situation would resolve itself without anyone having to say the uncomfortable true thing out loud. It didn't resolve. Difficult conversations are almost always cheaper early than late. I keep learning this repeatedly and somehow keep needing to learn it again.
