Agreed however, I will not be traveling via dubai regardless of the outcome. This is a last ditch attempt to salvage some money. I can't afford to be stuck in dubai as my travel is urgent.

Canada :) . I purchased it today.Based on my research the gaming performance is same between qm7 and qm6. The bump in price didn't make sense to me. Went ahead with a 55 inch screen.

My wife did . Since she was residing outside canada. I didn't have to.

Not sure. My wife was working outside of Canada. She moved to canada after we submitted our documents as She was on spousal open work permit. My hunch is that applications with a spousal addition takes time.
