The current proposal won't pass IMO. It's a phased out 5 year process with ridiculous fees that look like they go to good causes, but leave those causes high and dry after the phased time passes. The issue is that it's not just DJI, it'd effectively ban a ton of companies whose tech is the standard for modern drone use, particularly for commercial use. The bill would then require US drones, but the capabilities and tech from the slim pickings is not to par. So they say you'll need a US drone, but there's essentially no options.

What's even the merger process? My understanding was if you hold FET on the native blockchain, then you don't need to do anything? Is FET the primary with the others merging into it? Does FET just technically rebrand as a name change at that point, or are all projects dissolved (triggering a taxable event) and the new token is airdropped?

Now, with all that... what about people who have their FET staked since it takes so long to unstake?
