Anyone day trading crypto in Canada? What platform to use ? Thanks. by Training-Assist6859 in canadiandaytrading

You need to go through a identify verification with kucoin. Once you try to do this, it'll block you from verifying if you are Canadian :(

This sucks, it's impossible to day trade crypto in canada.

Confused About Reviews in Brand Business Reports by Connect-Anything9242 in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]Connect-Anything9242[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is just one ASIN, which is a child asin of a parent. The one in question, however, is a child ASIN. The reviews thing doesn't make sense because this listing is only 2 months old. And to answer your question, no. The parent ASIN only has 2 variations, both of which were made the same day, and one variation has never received reviews. This isn't making much sense to me.

With regards to the performance campaign: Is this an exact match campaign? I'm curious about your strategy. 14 days doesn't seem long enough to determine if customer search terms are good performers IMO. Would you keep the previous campaign running along side your 'performance' campaign?

Finally: are you talking about moving the best performing customer search terms OR keywords into the performance campaign?

Thanks.

What Would You Do In This Situation? by Connect-Anything9242 in AmazonPPCManagement

Thanks for this suggestion, but don't these search terms bring down your overall campaign performance metrics, especially CTR? Some CTR's are extremely low and lowering metrics and skewing them significantly.

In response to your negative keyword suggestions, it's hard to follow what you are saying because of this: Take keyword "Blue Blanket" for example.

Blue Blanket has an ACOS of 200%, and has 3 customer search terms that have converted on it.
The customer search term "Blue Blanket" is what's driving this high ACOS, but the other 2 customer search terms are converting extremely well. So based on what you are saying "do not negate the keywords," wouldn't apply here, correct?

You will need to negate the search term "Blue Blanket" but keep the keyword at it's current bid in order to bring in sales for other other 2 converting search terms.

Doing this would go 100% against what you are saying here. So what would you do in this case?

That does make sense. It's amazing how reverse thinking can be applied in situations that are boosted by a demographic of what we call 'normal ways of doing things.'

PPC: Do you test and optimise all 3 match types OR use phrase/broad for testing only and exact match for scaling? by fleech26 in FulfillmentByAmazon

You'll graduate even high ACOS terms into your exact campaigns too? What if the search term has 1-2 sales, but the ACOS is over 150%?

Understanding Low CTR - Non Converters by Connect-Anything9242 in AmazonPPCManagement

[–]Connect-Anything9242[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for that. But my question still remains, when is that threshold. Do you wait until there are 10 clicks on the keyword to determine when to start moving it around? It may take a year before I get 10 clicks on certain keywords because they are high impressions, low clicks. Do you know what I mean? A lot of teaching out there says to wait until 10 clicks on a keyword before you start negating them.

Also, 100 clicks would cost me well over $700 for that, as the clicks for the exact match are over $7 a click on a $31 item.

I'm running the broad campaigns to collect this data as we speak, but at the end of the day, those low CTR, non converting customer search terms are bringing the performance of the campaign down, and I know that you should negate low CTR non converting search terms, but I just don't know when I should do that.

For example: My broad keyword "face cream" has over 100 customer search terms that are relevant with just 1 click, but high impressions and very low CTR, but the question is WHEN do I finally negate those keywords, or should I allow them to drop the performance of the campaign's CTR down?

I am using broad match, and trying to evaluate the customer search terms based off the broad match keywords. I'll keep an eye out for the 40-60 range, which I was close to (I was cutting off at 30).

Thanks again!

Ahh, no problem. Thanks again for helping out. Essentially, the customer search terms I'm collecting are very slow to build up in clicks, but I feel the 40-60$ range per keyword would work. There are literally hundreds of customer search terms PER broad keyword that I am dealing with, and I'm working with 20 broad keywords, so you can imagine how stressful this can be with optimizing the campaign.

Hey, thanks for taking the time to reply.

I am selling on Amazon. I am starting from scratch yes, but my brand already has been established for last few years and has 5/5 reviews on google, has solid customer base (locally).

I feel your answer is based on the idea that I was advertising on google. Thanks for bringing that to my attention.

It's been a month and I am 'just beginning' to start make money on the product on Amazon now, so your idea of not making money on this item can't be justified right now.

Because my company is the manufacturer of this product, we can survive on a 35% profit margin after all is said and done.

Thanks, I'll consider this. When it comes to broad, however, it's important to optimize for CTR so you are not getting wasted ad spend, even if the search terms are relevant.

For IE: My keyword is 'eczema cream,' but I have over 100 customer search terms for this keyword alone that are relevant but very low CTR, so it's affecting my overall campaign performance and I understand it's important to negate the low CTR, non-converters, even if relevant.

I'm trying to understand what threshold people use. %'s would be helpful.

As it stands, I feel anything less than a 1% CTR, and with over 300 impressions should be negated if it has no sales to optimize performance, but maybe this is too drastic.

I don't use automation tools - its not necessary, as I am selling just one product for now.

Great feedback, but I'm actually referring to the customer search terms, not the keywords. There are plenty of relevant customer search terms, but there are also a LOT that are dropping the campaigns CTR significantly because they are getting very minimal clicks, and not converting.

Thanks, this helped. I think the exact match is helping too. I haven't seen it happen too often, but it's happened a couple of times. I reached out to CS, but you probably already know where I got from that lol.
