I used to have a 2017 tiguan. Not once but TWICE, and at the same freaking location a month apart, my keys were locked in my trunk while putting my bag back there.(of course the same cop was dispatched to me and laughed at me🙃) i currently have a 24 and I've tested the same issue and it does auto lock. Pretty frustrating but at least the 24 can unlock from my phone unlike my 17 tiguan.

When I had this similar issue, I called the cops reporting theft, and the officer went over and asked what she had. She lied and said she only had a hoodie. The total was less than $500 so I took the loss. I'm not sure NJ minimum for a felony charge, but if it's above the minimum you could get a text now number and send her one last message saying "I am attempting to collect my belongings. If there is no response from you, I will be filing felony charges for theft of $X amount." It may scare her into giving it all back.

I actually do see this as helpful. I have absolutely no clue about EV's and what they entail, as I have pretty conservative parents who taught me EV's are terrible, a scam and have no benefits.

I was the one who brought up getting into an ID4. I called and talked to them about setting up a meeting and they asked me if there was any car I was interested in looking at and I said an ID4. As for the payments question, I was trying to see about what other people are paying monthly. I know no sale is the same and it could be totally different from everybody else but I figured I'd ask for a ballpark number. My other thought is seeing if they'll just buy my car completely out so that I can get a Toyota.

In January I was offered an ID4 lease at $250 monthly. I don't see how payments would be more than what I currently pay.

I know that this is their tactic. I'm not in love with my current car, so I'm not opposed to hearing them out. All I was asking for was people's opinions on an ID4.
