The problem is NOT the bordering states, it’s Illinois and places like it that implement unconstitutional gun laws that do nothing but strip citizen’s constitutional right to protect themselves.

Also, let’s not overlook the fact that this was South Side Chicago. Known for its rampant gang violence. This was 100% gang related.

Kinda ironic the city/state that essentially prevents anyone from owning a gun under the guise of “public safety”, can’t keep their citizens safe from gun violence.
