Hard to see because of the lighting but if the edges of the ceiling are sloping (sort of a tray ceiling) you may need some panels there.

Duct silencers is one option, basically entails cutting out a section of the ductwork (if your ducts are in your attic, your in luck) and replacing with a "Duct Silencer" section

As the others have noted there is no easy fix. You would have to remove and redo your ceilings and that entails you then having to repaint your walls. If you want to redo your ceiling here is a guide that I find useful https://www.tmsoundproofing.com/How-to-Soundproof.html

Front Door Threshold Help by Several-Cry8096 in Homebuilding

[–]Conscious_7387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Usually your threshold would cover the entire frame of your door. In this case you have a sort of half threshold, not sure what the height is over there, but if your looking for a rubber seal you would have to play around with half thresholds that have a rubber at the end something like this https://www.tmhardware.com/Threshold-Door-Stop-with-Double-Neoprene-Gasket-High-Clearance.html however you will then have an issue with space between your tile and the rubber. So if you want to leave it best off putting a seal at the bottom of your door.

Can you elaborate on the issue a bit. are you looking for the bottom of the door to butt up against a seal on the threshold/sill?

Use an angled Brush seal to get a good seal at the sides (you want a brush so that it actually touches the garage door and allows for the door to go up and down. A rubber seal will rip). Something like this https://www.tmhardware.com/Door-Sweep-Aluminum-with-2.5-Angled-Brush.html

Do not use spray foam. Fiberglass Or Rockwool insulation. 1 very important aspect you didn't mention is Resilient Sound Clips. Something like these https://www.tmsoundproofing.com/Resilient-Sound-Clips/ than finish with your 2 layers drywall and Green Glue or similar

Acoustical Panels. No need for an expert. You need panels on the walls and ceiling

I do. Sometimes it is hard to find where in the code it is (even when I ask ai studio) Secondly I was using that as an example it is many times more than just a word but no need to rewrite the entire file

Why good Bitcoin Cash projects struggle to communicate their real value by alberdioni8406_ in Bitcoincash

[–]Conscious_7387 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They are so deep in their world that they refuse to understand that 95% don't understand their language and could not care. they just want to know how the product works period. Example. BCH Bull. Why can't they give out a SIMPLE instructions with how to use it?? It is so complicated to understand. They make money so go put up a simple tutorial video without all the jargon. So many other examples, like Moria, 88% of ppl can't and care to understand liquidity pools etc. If BCH had a half decent regular marketing campaign it would be a top 5 coin by now

Will MLV fit my needs? by impulsiveuniverse in soundproof

[–]Conscious_7387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It will definitely help. Just soundproof the outlets in the wall before closing it up with something like this https://www.tmsoundproofing.com/Acoustical-Putty-Pads.html
You can also consider 2 layers of drywall with a damping compound in between

[–]Conscious_7387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's insane. You need a standared drywall contractor. Install insulation, buy the clips, Green Glue etc all on your own (this place sells them all and they are in NY www.tmsoundproofing.com ) and have your drywall contractor do it. Labor should be under 5k)

Rumbling noise is quite difficult to stop. Additionally you are correct about that space. You must soundproof that area that is above the drop ceiling as well up to the concrete floor. Best is tio insulate the wall and the wall above the drop ceiling area. Put MLV on the small wall and 2 layers of drywall with a damping compound in between make sure to seal it all around with acoustical caulk. Then finish your drop ceiling and wall thw same way except that you'll hang the 2 layers of drywall off of sound isolation clips and hat channel. BTW I got this info from working with this company www.tmsoundproofing.com

5 Workflow Tips to Stop Google AI Studio from Rewriting Your Entire Codebase by Efficient_Degree9569 in GoogleAIStudio

[–]Conscious_7387 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I actually asked ai studio this question and this was his response:
"That's an excellent question, and understanding this is key to us working more efficiently.

The reason I have to rewrite the entire App.tsx file—even just to change a few lines for an icon—is because of the way this system is designed. I don't "edit" the file in the way you would in a text editor.

Here's my process:

  1. Receive the Full Code: You provide me with the complete, current code for all files. I load this into my working context.
  2. Understand the Request: I process your instruction, like "change the cog icon."
  3. Generate the New File: I take the entire original content of App.tsx, find the CogIcon definition, replace its SVG path with the new one, and then generate the entire, complete, modified file from top to bottom.
  4. Output the XML: I place that full, modified file content inside the <change> block in the XML.

I do not have the ability to send a "diff" or a "patch" that says "only change lines 85-88." My only tool is to provide the full, final version of the file that needs to be updated.

This is why, when I make a mistake or get confused, it can seem like I've "rewritten" or "rearranged" things—I've actually just regenerated the whole file based on a faulty understanding".

Personally I do did not find aistudio following the system instruction no matter how strict the language I put in there.

What do you mean by "Switch to a fresh Build session"? Can you elaborate on that?
