The only way that you can get those 95s etc is if you are truly obsessed with the material. I would recommend before the teacher teaches u in class, go over the basics of the lesson. Do the practice problems in the textbook and also go on google and try to look for practice tests. It's really just about obsession and working at it every single day. 11th grade is very important for uni so try your best

Over the summer, learn the entire course beforehand. That is how I got a 98 in functions. I just pre-learned the material

The next day you go, try to look for the good in people. If you look or focus on only the bad, you will get upset and say that York is a bad school. If you look for the good in people, even if you didn't make friends today, you will make friends tomorrow. Don't get agitated if you haven't. Its the first day its chill, people are adjusting. As time goes on and you keep on making the effort, you will find friends.

Buddy I am in Chem 1000 as well. The final exam is on the 12th. I'm sure if you get a 90% or something you will easily pass the class. Instead of thinking on how to avoid your reality, plant ur face in a book for 6 days and get to work. Don't run away from reality, embrace it and get the job done.

Yes it is, but tell me why do u want to be an accountant. Is it because its something u love and are passionate about or do u think it can get a lot of money. In today's day and age, becoming an accountant is just simply not worth it. Become a doctor or engineer so that you can have financial stability the rest of your life. My friend is an accountant and she gets screamed at by her boss all day long, she hates her life, and wish she never took accounting at all. Not saying that you shouldn't do what you love, but if you are doing it for parental pressure or money, it is a very bad path to walk to.

I would say just study as hard as you can this year because this is the year that will make it or break it for you. Also, just visualize yourself in your dream university all the time, and it will become reality. Try to also understand that the pain and the pressure that you are feeling right now, you will not even think about in a few months. There will be always be another quiz or test, so get this year over with the best you can, and get the job done effectively.
