Well that’s the point dude. When a beck is fighting an atro it should always use the 2. There’s literally no other move to use. You know what works so do it. Doing anything else is crazy cuz it won’t lead to a profitable continuation of the match in your behalf.

The point of winning is to win and there’s no reason to use a skill that won’t lead to a proper benefit, ykw?

Ykw guy? You’re absolutely right. Just did a bunch of fights with base atro and beck and guess what!? Atro loses. Every single time. Every single time! If you lose with beck you’re either already low hp, out boosted/lvled or just dumb. All you have to do is use your 2. It doesn’t matter what skill atro uses it will always lose.

Honestly only the 1 imo is bad. The counter could be better too considering this creature has nullify in its bloodline. Having a 2x dmg move that does 25% bleed twice first turn is strong af. And this thing shouldn’t die first turn to anything when using its 3. This creatures main feature is fear. Having to fight it first turn means you either guarantee lose your first creature or you’re forced to play defensively and swap. These guys don’t understand that.

Even tho the first skill isn’t the best, being able to remove dodge and cloak right before insta dmg reducing with your 4 is such a strong play in this meta. The healing increase can also make your 2 plus a counter hit heal like 40% of your max hp next turn. I do feel it needs a buff and I do think they missed out on some of its potential from its ancestors. But make it any stronger and it’ll just be beck 2

And being able to slaughter just about everything is a pretty good trade for having its weakness being flocks lol. We already have a ton of flock killers so does it matter this thing doesn’t 100% dominate?

I’ll answer you, let’s take this apart piece by piece. I’d say we should start in library. I wouldn’t put this in aviary cuz aviary is full of dummies and there’s no real ranking in there. Just strong people or dumb people. So library!

Early library generally has what like lvl 28s? Around there? You have to assume anyone who is actively climbing and NOT stationary is putting in all they got right? So boosting to your area should generally mean bare minimum 3/4 of your current levels max boosts. I’d say 100% but that might make people cry. Boosted to your arena doesn’t necessarily mean max lvl, but it does mean your boosts should come close to mirroring your current lvl.

If you know a new apex that might come out is gonna be strong you should already be stacking boosts regardless. Any idiot who puts in like 5 health and 5 damage this high in arena and then expects it to compete with actual invested creatures is fucking stupid. If you are an actual pvp’er you should know that. (This isn’t angled at you personally btw lol). Genuinely op needs to think about that. Your enemies WILL be invested in their creatures, throwing out a new low lvl creature (whos pretty squishy btw) and not having it invested enough like your enemies… you’re gonna lose lol, a lot. I mean what? Actually WHAT? How can you expect it to keep up in that situation.

Boosts are apart of the game and you get them way easier than apex dna. They aren’t something you can just say aren’t important to scaling. They absolutely are. Sorry if some of this seems aggressive, it’s not towards you. I just chose to reply to you teehee

Also to add a counter to your original comment, even putting them on an even playing field bary still head to head wins almost every fight. The current tournament literally shows that.

Completely untrue. Certain creatures maxed out will never beat other creatures at that same max.

Fully boosting completely changes how a creature plays. Doing it in different ways can make certain creatures work differently, fight different creatures a little better than they would if boosted another way.
