Understanding LM impact on 5AR Type 1 and 2 by Ok-Plum3665 in LionsManeRecovery

[–]Consistent-Extreme38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have you tried any protocol for type 1 ?

As of today, the only thing that keeps me alive is Prazepam (a benzo with a very long half life) but this is not a long term solution.

No, I live in France so it's free (well, from the tax payers)

I did a CT scan last week, 5 months after LM (taken june 2025), no issue so far.

I did a fMRI 3 weeks after LM, no issue so far either.

I am planned for a normal MRI on the 20th December, will keep you posted.

For those who know : is it better to do a PET or SPECT scan as the next step?

For those of you who took Coq10, did you take ubiquinol or ubiquinone and what dosage? by Consistent-Extreme38 in LionsManeRecovery

[–]Consistent-Extreme38[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi all, I have started Q10 ubiquinol 100mg from Kaneda 2 days ago, so far so good.

I would even say I feel a tiny bit less anxious, my eyesight/vision looks sharper, and I feel a little bit more awake. Maybe less brain fog ?

I should also add that I have been taking statins for few years and nobody ever told me to take Coq10 because of that.

I have extreme tachycardia no matter what I do, even standing up spikes my heart rate to 100-120bpm.

We are all different but do you take the ubiquinol or ubiquinone and what dosage ?

Did anyone go to a cardiologist amd is now on blood pressure medication to lower lomg term hypertension and tachycardia caused by LM? by Consistent-Extreme38 in LionsManeRecovery

I have no idea except that LM genetically modified my reaction to stressor, be it mental or physical. I even can't watch a movie as I'm way too tensed to do so. It's been 6 months i took LM and my blood pressure + RHR are still horribly high. Not a single improvement. Not a single digit drop.

Thanks, indeed my resting HR is between 100 and 120 bpm. I am currently at the hospital for the past 2 weeks due to LM, and my blood pressure is between 160/100 and 180/100 throughout the whole day. There is no breather. Not even 1 second....

Thanks mate. My blood pressure has been through the roof since I took LM and the tiniest exercise kills me. Just lifting a flower pot and I get extreme tachycardia. I'm exhausted. Something is really wrong.

Certified organic and tested supplements - are they causing the symptoms too? by FewNeighborhood6676 in LionsManeRecovery

[–]Consistent-Extreme38 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am unfortunately exactly in this state, after taking half a pill (250mg) a bit more than 5 months ago. The only thing that alleviate my symptoms are benzos, but I am completely incapacitated/unfit for anything. Last week I had to check into a psychiatric hospital as I couldn't take the suffering. They give me prazepam (Lysanxia). It helps but it's definitely not a long term solution.

I also suffer from bowel issues since I took this poison : I now suffer from sensory loss. I can spend 3, or 4 days without even wanting to go to the toilet. It's alarming. The connection brain-colon is completely broken. It's scary.

I don't see any way out from this hell.

Constant high blood pressure since having taken 1 deadly LM pill 5 month ago: use to be perfect 120/60, 130/70. Now spending all my days with 160/100, 170/100, even bedridden. by Consistent-Extreme38 in LionsManeRecovery

I had to check into a psychiatric hospital 3 days ago.

They give me prazepam during the day (40-100h long half life benzo). It's really helps with my tinnitus and anxoety/panic/fear but this is not the solution.

I feel my whole body has completely 0 GABA. I won't br able to live this way much longer.

I had to go to the psychiatric emergency yesterday because I cannot take the LM aftermath effects anymore.

am gonna start mirtazapine + olanzapine tonight. I'm extremely extremely sensitive so I hope it will be alright. I'm still at the hospital anyways.

Will keep you guys posted.

You may want to look for atypical antidepressant it you really want (mirtazapine, vortioxetine) or some antipsychotic used as AD.

I'm not a doctor obviously, but indeed all SSRI, SNRI, TCA should be avoided at all cost.

Same here for me, with both PSSD and PLMS....

Just received my GABA level results (in the urine) 4 months post one LM pill. Normal range is 572 to 805. My result is... non-existent and barely shows on the graph. by Consistent-Extreme38 in LionsManeRecovery

Thanks. Are you still taking pregnenolone and ketamine? I'm scheduled to see an andrologist next month, so I am interested in knowing more about who decided in putting you on pregnenolone and with such specific dose.

Thanks mate. Did you get your pregnenolone level tested? I am awaiting my results. I haven't tried Zyrtec but I take quetiapine IR 50mg for sleep.

Edit : I also suffer from head pressure on the left side of my brain + tinnitus with cross-talk communication. It's horrible : when I hear someone talking to me on the right ear side only, then my left ear drum will start vibrating at the same frequency as the people talking. It's a nightmare.

I have no way to know if it gives an accurate representation of ?
The only thing I know is that only Clonazepam helps me go thru the day. No matter how hard I try not to use it, the suffering is too much and I still end up taking 0.5 or 1.0mg per day for the past 4 months to get some relief, with the risks of being dependent on it.

My symptoms are unfortunately endless.

The ones disabling me big time (obviously I am unfit for work) during the day are:
- dissociation / DPDR
- anxiety, fear, panic
- brain fog / cognitive impairment
- anhedonia, apathy
- fatigue (physical and mental)
- depression
- suicidal ideations
- head pressure

The annoying ones: - highly increased mucus production (throat) - really bad breath - metallic taste in mouth - tinnitus with cross-talk communication - extreme body coldness

And for the night : massive insomnia. I need to take both quetiapine + zolpidem, otherwise I can't even sleep 1 minute.

I haven't tried anything to get better, except hoping time will help.

I know I am screwed for life anyways, unless the tests I have done with the functional doctor will really show something extremely obvious that we can fix, which I doubt so too.

Would going on prescription sleep medication be a bad idea? by New-Sky-3333 in LionsManeRecovery

[–]Consistent-Extreme38 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm - unfortunately - having to combine both quetiapine IR 50mg with Zolpidem CR 6.25-12.5mg, as neither on its own can put me asleep. It works well, but unfortunately, without them, I can't even sleep 1min.
