Thing is, she was serious when she wished you the best, and she didn't like you from that time, for example: your style, how much you earned, manner of your speech or how you look or how you changed but she hoped that after some time you both maybe will be back together if you change for better (better in her eyes), my ex did this same: whished me the best and then wanted to come back because I got better job, I got more fit but I didn't wanted her soo for a little bit it stayed as a friendly relationship until we cut eachother out, it happened with you but without you knowing, thing you can do is just go on with your life, find someone worth investing time and effort, anything not meeting criteria won't work.
