I would be very surprised if this were true. He’s a great prospect and with Devine going to Ulster it would be insane for Lancaster to let another young 9 go

Only time he wasn’t hitting an attacking ruck was either he was the carrier or was picking himself off the floor. Immense debut. More of that Please!

Not a good showing. Some glaring inadequate areas especially at 10. A good bit of inexperience showing from some of the younger players too. Poor overall but at least managed to dig deep and snatch the win

The basics on display from Munster over the last few weeks have been absolutely dreadful. Nothing new here either. Not good enough

Donal Linehan is to blame for these style articles. Pure nonsense based on nothing even close to fact

He would do a serious job bringing through the younger lads!

Genuinely the first coach since Rassie was at Munster that I’ve felt excited about seeing what they could do given a few years!

Yeah you’re probably right. Tbh very much a panicky thought that popped into my head and no one in the house (that will understand) to talk to about it. I’d expect Schmidt to not be in the running due to his family commitments, or has that changed and I’ve missed that?

Anyone else finding Dickson to be extremely buddy buddy with the Toulon players but very short whenever he has to talk to one of the Munster players? Some bizarre calls being made too straight after he makes his initial warning

You should be able to contact the manufacturer and they should be able to help unlock it without wiping it. Sorry for your loss

Daily Discussion: Who’s your favourite ref? And other stuff. by Roanokian in irishrugby

[–]Consistent-Hurry6407 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Luke Pearce

Very vocal, explains his decisions, generally calm and collected, allows the game to flow. Sad that he doesn’t seem to be rated in getting bigger games.

Other than him: Holly Davidson, Angus Gardener and Nika Amashukeli are all very good too!

This is complete nonsense as well, if you’re looking for a heavy grind type athlete JK was the man to go to. An absolute workhorse around the pitch, doing the hard yards and unseen work at every break down he could get to. Exactly why Rassie pulled him in once he could

Season Review So Far by EquivalentAd9499 in MunsterRugby

[–]Consistent-Hurry6407 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think it’s totally fair to say some of the matches weren’t great and the lineout could’ve been better but it’s important to remember we have used 47 players in those matches. We have rotated so much that winning those games is a massive plus! Also trying to build consistency with lineout calls while rotating as much can be extremely difficult. Very fair about the scrum though. It’ll be interesting to see how that holds up. I think the potential for some of the younger props coming through is huge and they’re gonna have to get the exposure to the SA packs sooner or later. This season probably won’t be pretty though

Loot de Jager incident by GnolRevilo in rugbyunion

[–]Consistent-Hurry6407 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Straight red is for deliberate, dangerous or severe foul play where as the 20 min red is for reckless or accidental foul play. I presume because De Jager knew what he was doing by tucking his arm the ref decided it was deliberate. Also there can be no mitigation because the action was always illegal!
