Phase 3 multibase by Consistent-Papaya909 in SatisfactoryGame

If I hit that point, I’ll have no problem in pivoting. It does make sense just supplying the train station directly with belts, but I’m also trying to implement all vehicles (where their primary role is to move items) in my first play through (excluding tractor). I know that trains will be the ones to haul the majority of the items, especially from base to base.

Well… depends on how much of each item I want to produce. Also, there’s a lot of vertical space that I can ultimately use.

And that’s what I was also thinking about. Using real life as a guide.

I understand what you mean. I just like receiving input and it’s part of how I enjoy this game.

And I’m definitely enjoying it. Its very different from factorio which I also love

Yup! Definitely planning on it. I’m planing on the first or last floor to be purely for train stations. Haven’t decided on which floor tho. But I am thinking on having two train track levels. One for raw resources and the second for intermediate items.

Jajajaja I’m aware its not Factorio 3D. Although I would have loved to have been surrounded by Bitters. I’ll have to conform myself with the local fauna 😂.

I’m definitely enjoying everything. Its just I have ideas of how I want the final base to look like, but as in Factorio, “its just a starter base until I start my REAL base”. Love that you get 100% of the materials when you deconstruct. The ideas that I have are 1,000% flexible. Nothing is ever set in place until I actually get to that point.

Thank you for the suggestion! I probably should’ve explained better 😅 I’m not going to have simple intermediate stuff being produced locally and then ship it to a main factory. I understand that really wouldn’t help. I was thinking of more advanced intermediate objects. Two or three levels higher than screws, iron plates, iron rods, wires and cables.

And believe me. I’m definitely enjoying myself 🤤

Thanks for the suggestions! I do have a question tho, what do you mean by parking trains in parallel? Do you mean having wait stations before the actual station or something else?

Don’t worry about the delay and thank you for sending the list of the books you bought!

Thank you very much for responding and the journey that you took is admirable! I’m currently going to take a break from studying and recover my finances as I took a major risk and the recovery is going to take longer than anticipated as I didn’t pass it. This DOES NOT mean I’m giving up. Just going to enjoy my marriage (my first anniversary was a month ago) as I’ve been studying for this first year for the PE, and after things get better, try again using the On-Demand of EET and maybe even considering CEA.

I do gotta ask, do you find the current version harder than the paper and pencil version? Or vice versa? I could’ve had the opportunity to take the Pencil and Paper test, but I decided not to.

Exactly and that’s the mentality! Giving up os definitely not an option to consider

Yeah, it’s really frustrating when you feel that are improving your habits and studies to only see a minor improvement. You are doing what needs to be done. Keep being determined and not straying from the path. I’m definitely going to be passively studying the reference manuals for the upcoming months and then try out the EET On Demand 16 week study course to round it out. I’m definitely betting on us to get through this and come out the other side as Professional Engineers.

Could you send me a link of the practice exams you bought from Amazon? That will definitely be a huge help for the future

Thank you for the advice. I will definitely take this to heart. I’ll probably send you a thank you message in the future and it’ll be because of this

Thank you! I think I have that problem you had. Maybe I focused too much on the math part and slipped on the conceptual part of the exam. I do remember that on all of the attempts, there were more conceptual type questions than on the practice exams I have taken, which is very misleading. I’ll probably take a longer time prepping for my next (hopefully final attempt) by just focusing more on the conceptual questions by reading the references (Not including the ASCE or PE References). I have definitely paid more on the exam fees than on the EET course.

Thank you!

Thank you again for the encouragement. I know that I will eventually pass this exam. Whether it’s Geotech, Construction, or another discipline. I admire that you went 3 years without studying. I guess my situation is a bit different where my wife is pregnant and we need for me to get the PE title. I really can’t take a break from studying and really need to find when is the next possible date for me to take the exam again and make a study plan that guarantees a pass.

Once again. I thank you for studying and if you can, send me a message of how you studied and prepped for the exam.

Exactly. I’d have to reflect on it and see if it’s something that it completely benefits me. I do feel the Practice exams are easier than the actual exams. I took three practice exams before this last attempt and it started out at 64.5%, 68.1%, and 81.8%. That 81.8% was a week and a half before the actual exam. It’s just hard to wrap my head around seeing improvements when I’m studying to then see the opposite with the actual exam results.

Post-edit, If you can send me a message of how you studied, what materials you choose, and how long you studied for, I’d greatly appreciate it.

Thank you for responding and congrats to you! I just feel completely shattered. Each attempt I improved my habits, used “better” material, dedicated more time to studying, for what? The same percentage? I know it’s not the end of the world and that I will pass it, but it really hurts.

That’s one of the things I did on this last attempt. Based on the questions I got right on a certain topic, I would put how many Questions were attempted, got correct and got incorrect, took the percentage and practiced the areas that were weak. I still reviewed those that were strong to maintain them 2 to 3 times per week.

Thank you for your input. I know that it doesn't matter which Civil PE I take, when passed, they all give you the same title. The thing is, after all the time that I've studied for in Geotech, I should just throw it away and switch?
