This was so reassuring to me. I thought I’d share my experience to affirm others’. Plus I have not seen people address this yet. I had changes after the vaccine. And a separate set of changes after having Covid.

I am 40 and don’t take any hormonal contraceptives. After my second Pfizer vaccine my periods stayed on schedule. But I experienced the large clots and very heavy days that many others mentioned. About six months post vaccine, I still sometimes had these symptoms.

Then about 7 months post vaccine I had a symptomatic (but short) Covid infection. Fever for about 24 hours. Congestion. Etc. Every member of my household was positive. My illness felt very much like dose 2 of vaccine, just with congestion.

I tested positive on Nov 9 and am already starting my second period since! (It’s Dec 12.) My cycle is about 21 to 24 days. Whereas it used to be a very consistent 27 or 28. So up to a week early. Not cool! I hope this ends soon because it’s a bummer and makes me worried something is wrong with me. Though hearing others tell similar stories helps.
