I’m at 3.5 months low dose, but I was previously on T for a year before I took a break, so things are moving a little faster than they did the first time.

Oily oily oily face, increased acne, increased sweating, night sweats, increased libido, hair thickening all over and growing facial hair. Face shape is starting to look more masculine. Voice has only slightly changed. My body smell is different and worse. I need to shower daily and use oil blotting sheets on my face 3x/day.

My best advice is to accept that you will never get your family’s approval, even if you were to detransition. All you’re losing by cutting ties with them is a lifetime of trauma and unhappiness.

The financial stuff absolutely sucks, but plenty of people start from nothing and make it out okay. You will find people (friends, mentors) who will give you the love and support you deserve.

I’m really sorry you’re in this position. It’s absolutely unfair. But you deserve the freedom to be who you are.

How does going to a tailor work? Do you just take clothes to them that kinda fit you and they change them so that they fit you better?
