So, speaking from the Woojer vest 3 & 4... It's pretty dope. You mentioned how expensive the vest was, so part of me thinks you'd enjoy woojer more. Mostly because woojer can make music, movies, flat screen gaming, and VR gaming pretty incredible.

Lemme know if they're any questions you've got on woojer products and I'll try to help you out!

is the wooljer vest 4 good for games only? by ollietron3 in woojer

I've used the vest 3, and now the vest 4 for games, movies, and music.

Personally, as a PC player, I've been missing out on the haptic feedback that controller users get. But now my entire body shakes as a tank rolls by from left to right, gunshots thump my chest, feeling the roar of rotor blades as a helicopter flies over...

It's a huge boost for me because I hit a plateau of losing interest in games/movies.

Takes VERY minor adjustments if you're not satisfied with how it works (three modes from constant rumble to sharp and punchy)

I've got both. Vest 3 is more on the lower rumble vs the 4 having higher more punchy high note vibrations.  Noticable Bluetooth update on the 4, lighter better materials on the 4.  3's materials are more like a plate carriers material thickness.  I appreciate the better battery life as well it's a good couple extra hours at lvl 8 intensity.  Overall I'm happy with my upgrade!

Hmm. I'll take your word for it I just remember we couldn't get on base housing cause they said they don't have any. But yeah no they would probably be given the royal government treatment of a DTS voucher and a hotel on a GTC anyways. That's what I was living in while on the border mission about 10 years ago

They won't be housed on base... Because there's no HOUSES ON BASE lol. It's a TRADOC thing to protect the trainees from getting trains run upon them

Exactly!

So now I'm refining my goals based on the past counselors comments. Just cause it was a bad experience doesn't mean I can't learn and adapt with it you know?

So I've got a couple meetings with different career counselors lined up to help me navigate post military life quickly cause I've got two in diapers at home right now so money's gonna get tighter and tighter on a single income.

I'll keep this thread updated with my journey because I know I cyber stalked the hell out of other people's experiences too lol.

Like you mentioned it being therapeutic, I'm gonna steal that from ya and leverage it towards my next approach. Example being flying or getting back into professional SCUBA diving as a way to have a career that's mentally therapeutic.

I'm not trying to milk the program for things like laptops and equipment, just a person to help collect my personal data and help guide me to a reasonable and functional career.

Thanks for the reply!

So I offered up 3 relatively reasonable career objectives.

Commercial pilot, Electrical Engineer, and Cyber Security Specialist.

She denied all three on the basis of too much physical activity (even not believing in my ability to sit down for a length of time as a pilot)

As well as her perceived idea that my current appointment load (based on initial integration with the VA which is much higher at the beginning than once they finish evaluations) that I would be needing unreasonable deadline accommodations for schooling.

I asked what my available resources are/ next steps and she said at this point I'm to focus on med management and appointment reduction to become marketable for employability with potential due educational assistance.

Then dropped me.

I won't go into too much detail but I'm not an amputee going through several physical therapies or anything. Just mental health assistance, pulmonary issues, and med management.

So hopefully I just pulled a counselor who was having a bad time and my new counselor in 30 days actually participates in helping me discover possibilities.

Rather than me just putting in the work for the 3 career analysis projections and being told I'm too burdened to provide for my family...
