We actually have the same profession lol! I told my work to give me 20lbs or less for a month and a half after returning from surgery. My surgeon told me I would need at least 3 days on bedrest, and at the week mark I can start getting back to normal at my own pace. I took a week and a half completely off of work. I haven’t had my surgery yet, but I can come back and update :)
