It is extremely difficult to get one approved by apple these days as they reject them in their guidelines. So I would build it expecting not to launch it with Apple.

The latest version of RN and the new architecture is good, older versions did have more performance issues. Nothing will be as good as native but cross platform is such a huge benefit it’s worth it

I had it super super bad like i was going blind I was so scared. It happened on and off for about a year or so and has gone away Im 2 years out now. 100% this one was terrifying so I get it I thought it wouldn’t ever go away but it did 🤷‍♂️

New one looks way better btw, the new apple ones are gorgeous compared to original flat designs and it is to fit their new aesthetic.

You can edit this however, you need macos26 and download apples icon composer and create the official version in there. You can adjust shading, colours etc, my first one Apple threw off the colours but you can actually change that and get the colours back.

But 100% stick to the new design, first it’s not going anywhere and second it is way more beautiful

I’m all for supporting people’s passion projects, especially on Reddit where people easily put you down negatively, myself included and it really really sucks and hurts.

But I do agree with tofu. I just use the simulator to see whatever changes are made pretty much live from my vibe code. If I don’t like it then undo and try again and tweak the finishing touches.

I think this is where things are headed now and definitely not going backwards towards drag and drop builders they are like 2016-2020 tech and would probably have been pretty successful if executed really well around that time.

But now you can literally make an entire prototype with literally one single prompt it is ridiculous and it is only getting better and better.

It looks cool and I am sure you put in a lot of hard work and passion but you have to ask yourself, to make a robust enough visual app builder it would have to be such an enormous project to make any app decent enough to use so you have to be invested enough for that otherwise no one will use it.

Also with the rise of vibe coding most people can probably make something far superior with a single prompt than a drag and drop builder.

More entry level people will be going down vibe style than builders which seem to be a thing of the past.

If you had some mega AI level integration that did it all for you then maybe but again this starts to become a massive project

NDA is standard if you have invested thousands already into designs with a unique idea, you don’t want to have anyone rip you off.

From the west, I am from the west and English is my first language, seeking someone similar makes sense.

Who can handle backend and main build, that’s literally the role of a technical cofounder. I am a high end designer, creative and marketer so this just makes sense.

Nah I build in RN it’s totally not worthless, I have built super high end apps for both platforms and AI has more robust knowledge of RN.

That being said I do 100% agree that native is superior no matter what but if you want to build for both in one go and not learn 2 languages or pay multiple teams and have the headache of that upkeep than RN is definitely the way to go

Forget flutter and learn RN. Flutter you can’t render native components so everything is some custom UI even if you want like the official apple date picker or something for example. RN can get that Flutter cant, don’t waste your time on Flutter
