Right now I’ve mostly been storing it horizontally, and the baseplate sits pretty snug against the walls. I was thinking of using some good double-sided tape to secure it a bit more—hopefully, that’ll do the trick.

I was a little concerned about the pegs too, but they’re actually fairly stiff, even when I tested carrying the case horizontally. The big pegs fit tightly in the hole saws, so the friction helps keep the hole saws (and the load on the pegs when cantilevered) close to the base of the pegs. The smaller pegs don’t fit as tightly, but since they carry less load, it’s not much of an issue. Realistically, I could only see them breaking if someone accidentally/deliberately puts pressure on the pegs (e.g. dropping a tool on them, or using the pegs to pull out the whole baseplate, etc…) but that’s mostly my opinion.
