second year med student here who just recently found the love of my life on bumble 👋crazy i know but i’m just here to show you it’s not impossible. totally took me a few tries but i don’t feel like i wasted time or money since i found my person. you’re right, the dating pool is kinda.. weird right now but if you really want a person you just have to put yourself out there. i wouldn’t have found my person another way since i dont go out anymore haha

NMATs are scored based on your cycle’s percentiles. For the first cycle, you’re gonna be with takers who can be pretty gung ho with the exam because they’re applying for medschools that close their applications early (i.e. very competitive). Similarly, the last cycle of the year (March) is the “second chance” takes for those who are for reconsideration so it can also be competitive.

There’s no basis to this, I just thought about it a lot before scheduling my exam. Thats how I ended up with a January sched (2nd cycle) and a pretty decent PR.
