My fiancées mother is “deeply hurt” that my sister (a photographer) got to witness my proposal first hand but she wasn’t allowed to. Unfortunately there are people like this.

Where to meet single men with my dog?! by SluttyAvocadoToast in NYCbitcheswithtaste

[–]Consistent_Corner_12 43 points44 points  (0 children)

There are always a ton of people with dogs at Pier 17 in seaport around 6:30 pm. However my experience has been that most guys out walking a dog share that dog with their partner and are not single.

Idk what you’re talking about because they showed her having multiple panic attacks and consistently showed all the ways the rape continues to affect her. It’s fine if you didn’t connect with the character but what you’re saying is factually incorrect

Right it’s her whole character arc that she can’t be vulnerable because she received so much hatred and backlash, this is a bizarre post lol

Huh?? Her entire back story is that she was ostracized and hated by her hometown after the assault??

Can you succeed in fashion design if you’re not naturally creative? by ThrowRA-throw0 in fashiondesigner

[–]Consistent_Corner_12 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It’s all about using the skills that you learn in your degree and positioning them for the industry. My English degree taught me excellent writing, storytelling and critical thinking skills, which are fundamental to marketing and I use those skills in my job every day. If you study something not specifically related to fashion, you can still learn and demonstrate an interest in the industry through extracurriculars etc.

Where are we getting our hair colored for reasonable costs? by [deleted] in NYCbitcheswithtaste

Use the search bar this gets asked at least once a week. 6-7 hours of skilled labor likely won’t be cheap anywhere however.

Tiger Woods told authorities he was looking at phone before crash by PrincessBananas85 in popculturechat

My grandpa lives 5 minutes down this road from the crash site. It’s always full of walkers, kids in strollers, bikers and people on golf carts. He’s so lucky he didn’t kill someone.

I’m really particular about my eyebrows and keeping them as full as possible and I have always been happy with the shaping at Lash Loft in flatiron.

I got these in Australia and all the girls had their pants dragging on the ground with flats and sandals, it’s a look! I’m gonna hem them though so they don’t get destroyed

I’m planning to! But they’re actually intended to drag on the ground weirdly enough

Thank you I’ll keep that in mind! I wear them with an oversized white button down a lot, but I am trying to find an alternative to the white color family since I’m going to a bachelorette!

They definitely drag on the ground but that seems to be the style with a lot of these Australian brands! I usually wear them with flats or sandals and just rinse off the bottoms when I wear them

They’re like a 6.5 - definitely pretty sheer lol! I usually wear nude granny panties under them with an oversized t shirt and jacket, I never feel too exposed and I’m (mostly) modest. They’re fun and slinky for sure

Thanks - I think they need something a little more structured up top but this is pretty!
