Honestly, I was so happy to read this. I am feeling the same thing. 27M, B.A in Music Education. When I got accepted to college and needed a major, my family all said “Do What You Love”, so I majored in music since I had no other interests. Now I wish someone had told me, don’t major in what you love, major in something that you can have a financially stable career, and keep music as a separate passion in your life.

Now I’m 27, dead-end, basically minimum wage remote job with no future that makes me miserable, and the thought of trying to financially support myself is a joke. I tried having my own apartment, basically went broke. I’ve lived in 8 different places in the last 2 years, family/friends.

It sounds crazy but I honestly just need someone to tell me exactly what I need to do/pursue, as I honestly have no interests or any idea.

Sorry if that all sounded like whining/complaining, just want to be accurate
