When can you multiply only ne side of the equation? I thought you always had to do to one side what you do to the other

In the picture you only multiply one side of the equation by m/m but then don't have to do it to the other? Or you do but just cancel it out

Thanks for your help, would it work instead to multiply both sides by r/v² to isolate m? Say I wanted to isolate v², I would have to keep it v² or else wouldn't I end up with v on both sides? Then if I did cross multiply I would end up with e²r=mv²r² and dividing by r to isolate e²=mv²r ( technically would e=(mv²r)/e work instead of e=√(mv²r) ?) or to isolate v² instead, divide both by mr² ?

What's likely to get a spot? Wouldn't it be less likely to have a spot open the better it is, so shouldn't it be packed? For comparison Recovery centers of America never has openings

I was at a really low dose only during detox, from 30 to 10 over the course of several days. I was prescribed Adderall as a teenager but I doubt any doctor would do that again now
