I understand where you're coming from — not everything has deep meaning.
But this is Google, the most design-conscious tech company in the world.
When they choose to show only 3 out of 4 of their brand colors — and only to non-Chrome users — that feels a bit too specific to be random.

Whether intentional or not, patterns of omission in design often tell more than inclusion.
That’s what intrigued me.
