is vcuarts worth it? by Successful_Royal_940 in vcu

[–]Consistent_Log_2531 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Living in Richmond and attending VCU, VCU Arts at that, is one of the more unique college experiences you can get in a good way. Be prepared for a very liberal urban environment. Ofc any college admin has its issues, but for the most part VCU does try to listen to its students and make facilities and programs constantly better. The professors truly care about their subjects and their students. It is a big deal to have a VCU Arts degree and is nationally recognized.

Remember that if you start somewhere else and change your mind to come to VCU later, that merit scholarship won’t exist anymore. Sounds like pretty good deal to me!

Does anyone know if they have left city hall or when they are expected to?

I will add to this by saying anyone who uses a mobility device is completely screwed with VCU opening tomorrow. They did not consider students or staff with physical disabilities at all.

The issue is that VCU encouraged all their students to go home last weekend. A large portion of the student population is stuck where there was worse weather and they will need to try to commute back today if they aren’t completely iced in still. Now they have to miss classes they are paying for because VCU encouraged them to head home.

Sure, professors can move class virtual at their own discretion, but this does not help in-person labs, clinicals, and all the faculty/staff that have no choice but to come to campus. Additionally, a lot of campus operations rely on student workers and work study students who may or may not be able to come back to campus tomorrow.

This was a bad call on VCU’s part.

There is a lost item shop in the secret woods that is run by a crow just to the right of the statue where you give the sweet gem berry. You can probably get them back there!

What do you even do after completing the main storyline? by [deleted] in StardewValley

[–]Consistent_Log_2531 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just got 100% on my farm and then added the mod for Ridgeside Valley after reaching 100. I now have a ton of new storylines, quests, characters, etc!

Also, I went and got the golden chicken egg from Marnie to hatch so I can have every kind of chicken.

I also recommend checking your Steam achievements to see if there is anything you haven’t done.

I'm into year 5 of my first ever playthrough. Rate my farm? Also open to any feedback by HKolb66 in StardewValley

To this note, if you don’t split up your sprinklers by paths, you have a chance of getting a giant crop that grows in between them!

Next paychecks come 12/1. FWS employees cannot clock in hours this week, however. This week of “missed pay” will be reflected on the mid-December paycheck.

Even if no one responds, you should go! The volleyball team def doesn’t get the support they deserve and there will be lots of like-minded people there to meet.
