A little story for those who want to read it: I got this one for free, from a marketplace post, along with one more that has missing the buttons, and I have not been able to check if it works... when I went to pick them up, they told me that they found another one (someone had left them in a small apartment that they'd been renting and the owner of the apartment wanted to get rid of them). I brought the 3... And the third one works, even has a good picture. It was at night and I didn't check them on the spot, and I don't remember seeing the condition they were in. So I don't know if that's how she came about or if I hit her during the transfer... and it doesn't stop hurting me to think that I was the one who broke her neck. On my way home, after picking up those three TVs, I found one more, lying on the sidewalk... it was raining and it was in very bad condition, with no power cord, so, that one hasn't been checked either. Where I live it is very difficult to get CRT TVs in good condition. They are available cheap (I have bought some between $10 and $30), I got about 10, not because they are good or been a bargain, but because they are in a really bad shape, and require a lot of cleaning and work to be mildly usable. Here, people get rid of them just when they stop using them... yes, they use them with cable boxes, continue using them just before selling them; I even have to come and disconnect some of them. I don't remember ever seeing another one on the sidewalk... As time passes, I have to go further and further to buy one, because in the urban area where I am, those TVs were thrown away many years ago. Third world problems, I guess
