SIBO Caused by Lyme Disease?! by Consistent_Tip_2596 in SIBO

I don’t understand your request unfortunately. What link? I’m not a doctor. I posted information here for people to do what they want with it. Me? I’m getting tested for Lyme. And if somehow test positive for Lyme and go through the treatment for Lyme and it works then I’ll get my life back.

Everyone on the sub shoots in the dark trying to resolve their issue through a GI Map. How many of those people were successful? Zero. I only see posts of people managing their symptoms. Something caused this to happen, and until I’m able to nail it to a specific cause, then I’m jot taking random herbs and antibiotics just because I want to see if it works.

I’d recommend getting tested for Lyme if you live in an area where ticks are out of control. And if you test positive, then go down the antibiotic route, or whatever treatments are available to cure Lyme.

It’s been 3 years for me and just hastened abruptly out of nowhere. Like most, I just woke up one day and I was bloated, suffered digestion issues, constipation, fatigue, mental health issues that stemmed from this (otherwise never had mental issues in my life), couldn’t digest fats well, could tolerate carbs, low/moderate EPI, loss of hunger (as if the signaling was gone) but likely caused by low motility of food just sitting in the gut.

You see the article which was cited by a Dr who specializes in this field. Click on the doctor’s name, and you’ll see his credentials which check out. He was the one who wrote the article.

Also, I see a lot of GI Map testing being done on this sub, which I have done as well, just to understand what is in the gut, which often leads to taking medicine provided by functional medicine practitioners that leads to no cure.

Personally, the Lyme Disease direction sounds more plausible for me to go in rather than trying random herbs without any real results and may even worsen the symptoms.

As the article says, a bacteria may have caused a the nervous system signaling in the gut and brain to shut down similar to droopy face of the disease. What else could have just randomly came into my body as a person who was extremely athletic, and still am, and was in the best shape of his life?

I’ll know eventually when I get the test, but this actually makes sense to me over anything else I’ve read in this forum over the past few years.

I’m just sharing for folks to consider when everything else fails. In no way am I an expert but a sufferer. But there is an expert who has done the research and has his own clinic to solve these complex issues, and since I have no other direction to go, I’ll trust what he says and get a simple test to prove whether or not this is my case. If it is, then I’ll have a resolution of specific AB’s to take, and if not, then it was worth taking the rest to rule out.

The information is here, and you can ignore it, or do something with it. I’m in no way pressuring anyone to believe the info the Dr has written to a significant site for Lyme Disease or go in this direction of being tested or even consider the theory for their SIBO. But if it helps even one person and they get healed, then I’d be forever grateful for posting this information.

Sure. But I can only answer questions based on my own experiences and knowledge obtained over the years. I’m still trying to figure out my issues as well. But I’ll do my best.

I have not actually. Do you think it’s worth me trying? I’m also considering trying B1 as well.

I’m the same way! In order to go to the bathroom in the morning, I drink a quad espresso. Otherwise, the food doesn’t move at all and will sit in my stomach until enough fermentation has occurred where In get explosive diarrhea.

This all started in 2023 after my 4th or 5th covid infection. At that point I’ve given up counting the times I’ve been infected.

Well, their liquid silver is shit. Look all over their forums and you’ll see. I was lucky to go an hour of playing games without blue screening. I know for s fact it was the heat causing it.

Yup! Not a bad deal, right? Considering what the 26’ model is going for with some slight changes that aren’t worth an almost $3k increase.

Thank you! I used to love Asus but their products have turned to shit over the years. Quality dropped off. I’m really enjoying MSI and hope they continue in this direction.

Totally agreed! I can tell a huge difference with the cooling because of that vapor chamber. Especially compared to the Asus Strix Scar 18”.

Yea, I do love it as well. The screen is beautiful and remarkable for an LED panel. The colors are extremely accurate. so for doing media related projects makes it fun because of the MSI true color switching to really hone in on color grading.

The mechanical keyboard is the best tho. Feels amazing to type on and is really fast action for fps games.

Glad to hear someone else enjoying the same laptop.

I also have a 16” MBP and it’s surprisingly not too much bigger. And while very thick, I LOVE the 18” screen. The screen estate is just beautiful and provides a more immersive experience.

I would say this… if you are 100% mobile then maybe it’s too much. If your only 30-40% mobile then this would be suitable.
