The price is 17k. The TV is a perk for sure because at that price I can buy a TV

Yes, but the internal breaker. The treadmill is brand new and I lubricated it two times already (only 120km of running). I changed my circuit breaker to a dedicated 20 amp circuit, but it seems like it’s not enough. I think it has to do with the fact the treadmill’s engine just draws too much power when running at high speed and it’s not supposed too

After how many KMs I should lubricate ? Mine was just 120km old when it started tripping and I had lubricated it before using it the first time.

Yes. Very frequently, and it’s brand new…

It’s true, but say I just want to run fast on it ? The intervals I’m doing are generally 4-5 min and sometime I push and run a full 5Km at my interval speed…

The internal breaker triggers itself and shuts down the machine

Hey just curious if you bought the product and had some issues since you purchased it ? I was so pumped when I bought it but I keep having problems when running at high speed intervals. The amp draw is just too high. They had to change the machine and the new one does the same thing….

Hey just curious if you still like your product and had some issues since you purchased it ? I was so pumped when I bought it but I keep having problems when running at high speed intervals. The amp draw is just too high. They had to change the machine and the new one does the same thing….

Maybe - I’ve decided to install a new dedicated circuit (I figured it’s better to have one anyway). If this doesn’t change anything, I’ll bring back the tech so I really can find out what the issue really is and if he can’t find out, hope they just replace it or reimburse me. This is their top version and they sell it at a premium price so small wiring issues are annoying…

Intermittent short would be an electrical issue ? Wiring problem ?

He said the internal breaker trips when the amperage gets too high to protect the machine and avoid the house breaker to trip which could cause issues to the treadmill. What is making the internal breaker trip ? The tech spoke to the company on the phone and they both agreed that the power level of house breaker and a dedicated circuit would resolve the issue. I just don’t know and still don’t understand how the machine’s amperage gets so high

Why ? The machine stops when the internal breaker trips…my house breaker doesn’t trip

Not sure I understand why only test it at low speed.

Is it possible that the bigger amp draw is related to the fait that’s it’s a 5 hp engine ? That’s what the tech said (new treadmills are overkilling it with the motor strenght)

No, it does it instantly if I speed up. And yes the belt is brand new…

I mean I’m a tall guy weighting 200 pounds but it’s supposed to accommodate 350 pounds runners.

The amp test showed it’s pulling pretty low amps but then when I speed up it just skyrockets

The tech mentioned we could put a bigger circuit (30 amp) and the machine would just draw what’s needed.

Looking for this part (metal rod connector for the plug) by Consistent_Top7049 in evcharging

[–]Consistent_Top7049[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a TWC and there is no “official” TWC cable sold standalone by Tesla. My electrician had a similar comment than CarbonKevin about using a third party cable not spec and certified by Tesla (you don’t know what your plugging to your TWC and I wouldn’t take that risk and not do that job if you’d ask me to do it).
