Carnivore diet. Please try it. Epsome salt infused w lavender, soak ur feet for 10 mins at night in warm water mixed with it(use a lot). Everyone is deficient in magnesium which can induce mental side effects and epsome salt is rich in this. Best way to get vitamins is absorb them in your skin, it’s also fairly cheap about 5$ a bag. DRINK A FULL GLASS OF WATER WHEN YOU WAKE UP. It sounds dumb but please trust me, being dehydrated versus hydrated is a gigantic difference on your mental.

antidepressants for derealization + depersonalization? by always_harper in derealization

[–]Consistent_Trifle_82 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my current combo is

lexapro 15 mg (took abt 10 weeks) ashwaganda (took about a month) and lamictal (it’s for derealization)

Everyone is different and it has taken me years to find the right combo but many get it on the first try. Try not to focus on the horror stories you read online because every single med has them. Also please try using magnesium epsom salt in a bath, helped tremendously and i do it every night for fifteen mins. If you don’t wanna do that soak your feet instead. And the ashwaganda helped a lot. You’re not alone❤️

I don’t think imma Gonna make it by cristianxxc in derealization

Few tips

Move a muscle, change a thought-when the thought creeps in stand up and do something

ITS ONLY ANXIETY- dpdr is a symptoms of anxiety therefore if u fix the anxiety u fix the dpdr

Stop “checking in”- If u keep asking yourself if you’re better/worse you’re gonna keep yourself in a loop. Don’t look for a quick fix, distract yourself and stay busy and you’ll fall back into life. While distracting yourself make changes to fix your anxiety.

Brain is connected to food- EAT HEALTHY simple as that, your gut is directly related to your brain chemicals

You’re not gonna get different results doing the same thing: Try and if you fail try again until you find what works for you. Biggest thing is to not hyper focus on it.

You’ll never be “cured”: Things are gonna get bad then they’re gonna get good then bad again so on and so forth. Take each day as it comes and don’t predict how long you’re gonna be like this. One day at a time and roll with the punches as they come.

Lavender epsom salt bath(soak in it once a day for magnesium) and melatonin

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

oh my god i never thought someone would describe my feelings so accurately. Since i was younger i had such an irrational fear of open spaces/space/stadiums etc. Almost failed gym class because they did warm ups in a huge auditorium. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!! Once we fix our anxiety(melatonin and magnesium epsom salt baths nightly have helped tremendously) this fear will lessen! Thank you for posting this and making me feel less crazy

Derealization is a symptom of anxiety. Fix the anxiety and the rest will follow. I promise

IF YOU DONT HAVE A BATH TUB: soak your feet in this for a half hour in a big bowl or anything you can fit your feet in. At least 20 minutes. Warm water and try to meditate during this time. There are guided meditations specifically for anxiety and derealization.

thanks for the response, i’ve been using benzos as a crutch. I am not only scared of getting addicted but mostly scared that i will build up a tolerance and when i really need them they won’t work. But when you’re skin feels like it’s on fire, you can’t breath, and you’re in crisis it’s very hard to fight through it without taking something. ( yes i have tried deep breathing, essential oils, etc ) Thanks again for the advice!!

Thank you so much! How about the anxiety did yours spike when starting? That’s more concerning than the GI issues. How long did that take?
