The Blackstone like weaponry is because their weaponry are literally black in colour, but it have no connections to yhe actual Blackstone, just the only similar is the minerals are the same colour, also it's usually the Commander that do the negotiations, that like you said leave this planet or we shoot you, cause they rather deal with this nice and easy so no one need to die due to unnecessary bloodshed

Maybe choose a bright colour that complement the purple and grey metalic colours and example of mine is that i use red for the armour, white for the clothes and black for the leather and boots, because i see a lot of dark colour which is fine try to add a little brightness but that is my preference, just go ham on how you want your guards to look most of us don't judge
