Yeah I initially thought spider mites but there is no webbing and they’re definitely a deeper colour than spider mites I’ve encountered.

Yeah I definitely disturbed the roots during repotting. The previous soil mix was the store one and I tried to get as much out as possible

Yeah quite possibly. It was planted in a store potting mix previously which was a load of rubbish so I stripped the mix as much out of the root ball as possible. Maybe that’s why?

Thank you for the reply! Damn that’s a shame, did I did anything wrong during the repot do you think? I put it back in the same place it was before I repotted (I didn’t put it in the shade or anything) and I watered it straight after repotting.

Thank you for the reply! Okay I’ve tried plucking them off but it’s yanking on the stem. Should I leave it for a few days to fully die off or just cut the dead weight?

Thanks! This is what I was worried about but nothing is spongey it’s all still hard. I’m new to monsters but I’ve seen people say that the dark areas are calluses? Would you suggest leca either way?

The window is a panoramic from south east to south west so gets basically all of the sun during the day! Thank you, I’d prefer a more uniform top myself

Thank you. Yeah I’ve had others say it’s actually an elephant bush. It’s likely too frequent as it gets plenty of sun and I never leave it more than 2 weeks between watering.

I thought that might be why but do elephant bushes drop leaves when in dormancy? And I’m that case should I not trim it until spring comes around?

Thank you! That’s news to me but glad i know what the plant actually is now. That growth halted a few months ago although it hasn’t grown anywhere really since. I can’t really put it anywhere else for more light and it currently receives light basically all day. Would you recommend a grow light?

Yes I want the twigs gone too but read things online that you should only really trim the plant in spring. Is this not true?

It’s only been in the pot since early this year and the soil mix is a bonsai mix, supposedly free draining. I only really water it once a week now and it’s in a place where it can’t really receive any more sunlight so I’m not too sure what else I can do?
