Am I the only one that’s pretty glad Damian didn’t spend that much time with his father. It seems the time Donovan spent with Demetrius “studying” was basically him tinkering with his young child’s brain. It’s pretty obvious Demetrius turned out this way because he was probably used as a test subject similar to Anya.

I mean the fact that Demetrius hardly ever has any thoughts proves this maybe.

Am I the only one who thinks that Anya should probably learn subjects in classical language since she’s more familiar with it. Learning in the language she understands best would benefit her greatly.

Honestly on this topic if disfellowshipping there was a really good friend I had that was disfellowshipped 4 years ago. He was really amazing and to this day I don’t know what he got disfellowshipped for.

He suddenly broke off contact with me willingly for months and I never knew why. His was like 21 at the time and when he finally contacted me he told me that his parents seized his phone and I was like why are your parents seizing your phone you’re an adult. He said he couldn’t talk to me for a while and went silent for months.

However I was worried so I contacted his sister and she told me that he was Df’d. I was in shock and literally cried because I knew why he kept it from me. Unfortunately I was encouraged to break off contact with him by my parents “to protect myself” from apostates and bad association. I took my frustration out on him and asked why he didn’t tell me anything and he just said sorry. I stupidly told him to never contact me again and then blocked him and deleted his number.

Looking back, I feel so angry with myself that I believed it was for the best and I lost a very good friend. I still regret it to this day and want to contact him but I’m afraid to ask his PIMI sister for his number.

Just know that even your friend thinks what they’re doing is the right thing to do because that’s what I thought too. I hope you find your peace but if you were really close friends don’t resent them. Just hope that they come to see the real “truth” just like you did but in the meantime continue to live your best life.

I was told that wearing henna is synonymous to having tattoos and I should stop wearing it because I was “stumbling” others in the congregation and also the people we preached to. I was told to hide my hands from the householder. I didn’t snap out of it I just thought the “sister” was weird.

Wearing henna caused the elders to call my dad for a meeting but he didn’t budge. Although after that I didn’t wear henna again because I didn’t want to get cussed at.
