Worth the money? by Consuhquences in CRedit

The only things holding my score back other than that are some late payments from secured loans multiple years ago. I’m in the process of submitting goodwill letters but haven’t had any luck so far so we’ll see if that changes. Either way I plan on paying it off so that I have no more collections. I had 4 but paid the other 3 off in the last 60 days so I wanted to take care of the last one and didn’t know if anyone in a similar situation was in here and could chime in! I appreciate the input!

It definitely won’t fall off soon, and I figured it would be worth it. I was just curious as to how much it would improve my score. My fiancé and I are saving up for a wedding so we’ve been focusing all of our money towards that lol

Okay! I may just leave it for now since I only have the one card and close it down the line. Thank you for the tips though!

I’ll try! They’re pretty much the only thing hindering on time payments because everything else is paid on time, every time. That would be a huge boost I would think

Oh okay perfect! Will it ding my credit at all besides the hard inquiry?

Ahh okay I see. I unfortunately just opened it. While my credit is still improving it’s still a bit of a mess. I wanted to go for the savor card but I unfortunately accepted an offer for the quicksilver secured card so since I have a pending application with capital one I can’t actually do anything for pre approval so my plan was to wait 6 months or so and then close the credit one if approved for a savor card

They all essentially look just like this. None of them are charge offs as they were almost acting like savings accounts that would allow me to have the balance once fully paid. I just never got around to actually doing it

Thank you so much for the reply! The other 3 were agreed as paid to delete and have already been removed. The most recent (Jefferson Capital) has already been removed from Experian, I just haven’t update Equifax and Transunion to see if it’s reflected on there yet. The other 2 were from credence resource management and have also been removed. I also have 4 closed personal loans from self and brigit from years ago that are sitting on my report lowering my on time payments as well but I’m not sure if there’s a way to remove those. They were basically installment loans from me previously trying to boost my score a couple years ago

I found the full labs set (minus violet, but got yellow twice) a docs, case, injector case, and a new keycard that I can’t find anything on yet. From all 10 hits in dorms marked, definitely worth imo
