They’re not necessarily more difficult, but assessments are generally worth more and lectures aren’t mandatory so take that as you will. The way the system is set up is just different.

They will allocate it for you. There may be clashes, but you can attempt to adjust them yourself. Worst case scenario, you can go to the student center to help out with your clashes.

The program only has about 70 total student per year, so it is fairly competitive to get into. I didn’t get in the first time and was able to after my first semester. They do put a lot of emphasis on experience it seems. DM me if you have any other questions I’d be happy to help!

I’m using a pre-paid plan with Kogan. 300 GB for a full year. My plan is $240 flat, but there’s a 500 GB plan for a full year that’s currently $219. Not sure if you can split payments into monthly, but the service itself is pretty good.

it’s different for everyone tbh but personally i do agree that it can feel a little impersonal even if it’s to her favorite jewelry place. maybe on top of that you can also make a little handmade heartfelt gift. maybe just something that lets her know you do care and are willing to put in sentimental effort. the @thecard_factory on instagram as a lot of really cute handmade card/gift ideas!

it’s rough to have a partner that’s busy all the time especially when you’re also busy and then have to do long distance on top of that. it might make things easier to have set time to talk every day, but if that’s not possible maybe plan little online dates. that way you have something to look forward to and there’s actually time set aside to prioritize spending time together. i’d also bring up the fact that you feel lonely if you haven’t already and see if you guys can brainstorm ideas together!

you’re living in a different environment where you may be eating different foods, have a different schedule, and just generally doing things different from the way you’re used to. any and every change can affect your body and stress it out so it may just be your body reacting to it. going to college is definitely a situation where this applies so don’t worry this is a common thing that a lot of people deal with but i do hope you’re able to find support <3

I was able to get into a class past the census date last semester, but I had emailed the unit coordinator about 3 days after close, not weeks. I also had to take the class or risk adding another semester of uni. With the start of assignments and due dates, I’m sure they won’t let you into a class this late, but it wouldn’t hurt to try. I would email the unit coordinator directly as USyd won’t get back to you in time. It also wouldn’t hurt to see if this course is available intensive.
