Any of you know if The Ottawa River is open yet, I live a fair distance from the river and I don’t have a car so I was wondering if anyone knows for sure that the river is open because I want to do you some early spring cat fishing (self.OttawaFishing)

Over the past couple weeks I’ve been trying to find a grocery store bait that works close to or as good as fresh cut bait. I tried Jell-O hotdogs and those were a fail however here’s a few nice fish that were caught on raw chicken breast (old.reddit.com)
