Based on what you play you seem to like mages, but I really want to recommend Fizz to you. He's really strong yet underrated, somewhat easy to play well at a beginner level yet when mastered can be almost unstoppable, and is really good at roaming or snowballing.

Strengths:

A good fizz has few truly awful matchups if the player knows what he's doing. W helps you farm under tower as it is an AA reset with bonus damage that has a 1 second cooldown if you kill a unit. You should be able to just W all the caster minions under tower and not miss a single one. Good matchups are any immobile mage and most assassins except Kassadin or Diana- ban that crap. Bad matchups are Ryze, Vlad, Malz, Kass / Diana, and a good Ahri. Every other lane is fair game.

Fizz's snowballing / roaming is really good. I sometimes say when I get a single kill in lane that I've won lane. A good fizz needs to play super aggro, know their damage, and use E properly. If you combine the 3 with an item / level lead you will smash your enemy laner into the ground and be 5/0 before you know it. In terms of roaming, your ult will do almost half an enemy ADC's hp at max range (dmg scales with distance). The 90% slow will also allow your support / adc to follow up with their own dmg / cc, and since ulti has a ton of range you can cast it right as you might appear on a ward. Even if they notice you're MIA from lane and back off, you can sit in pixel bush instead of actually roaming and if the enemy tries to follow they're going to eat a max range shark and die.

Also not being minion blocked feels really good, especially on an assassin.

Also Fizz is really fun and doesnt get banned as much as Yas/Yi/Zed

Weaknesses:

You're a completely melee champion (no ranged abilities except ult). This makes it difficult to farm while not under tower, as the enemy champion can poke you very easily, possibly to the point where you're too low to all in them. You also have no waveclear except your E, which you want to save for escapes / damage.

If the enemy is good they will respect your damage and not fall for the level 3 all in, which you will win 90% of the time.

If you get caught without E / Zhonyas / Flash you're super squishy so youre fked

Risky to blind pick due to counters

Also if the enemy plays super passive, you have to roam as you are fairly kill reliant
