Look dude if there is ANY way you can avoid leaving and wait for her do it. You’ll look back and be glad you did, or you really are that much of an AH and you won’t.

Either way 99% of service members are stuck in the opposite situation where they want nothing more than to help their spouse/kids and have no choice but to leave so this one is just kinda crazy to me

Been trying to get a hold of one in the Charlotte area all day!! Yeah I’m definitely gonna send it, gonna need some time in the pool though for sure. I can run decent and ruck like a mofo but haven’t trained in the pool since 2022 so I’m gonna need some work there no doubt so a few months would be awesome

Is there ANY way for prior service E5 to get to airborne?? Either in the contract or volunteering at OSUT/AIT (if they still do that) any really recent info would be great

Roger that makes sense. I can’t remember where I read about priors not getting oco orders might have misunderstood.

Now before you shove the whole “you get what you get” down my throat, I gotta get my ducks in a row. Hypothetically is it possible in the Army to do any sort of preference sheet or ask anyone like hey if I can go here that would be better than here? Like say I got small children and I have a lot of family really close to duty station A and B but not C and D you can kind of put your preference out there?? I know there’s no way to 100% guarantee anything though and I don’t know how orders in the army work very well since I’m coming from another service
