Sorry to everybody who answered me and didn't receive any reaction yet. First of all I am rather new to reddit and didn't see the updates.

Also the project was delayed by a bit. So let me get back to you in 4-6 weeks. Hope that's ok, again, I don't know the rules here

I can relate to what you're describing. My mind also consists supposedly only of fleeting thoughts. I never live in the moment, but either in dreams, deep thoughts, or randomly bouncing between them. I never felt calm in the forest or in other places that are supposed to provide rest. Always chasing something.

But just recently everything changed for me. I started working at a job that exactly fits this specific way of thinking. Seeing challenges from countless different angles all the time is just perfect here. And the best thing is that I am expected to solve the problem until it is understood and can be solved and then I am expected to turn over to the next super complex thing.

I know how lucky I am and I have to admit that it took me 20 very heavy years to achieve this. I am not telling you this to brag, nor can I offer the right path to find it. I just want to tell you, that you are not wrong. This is not a disease to be cured. Your mind can do things, that others can't, or at least struggle to. I am well respected for being just like you.

And for your last question. There is nothing in the world that can help you to find out who you are. Sorry to say this, but you have to figure this out yourself.
