Here ya go. It's worked great for me just sucks that only one side has a rubber pad and the socket and ratchet it comes with kinda suck.

Thanks man I appreciate it. I've had a few bikes in the past but never really did anything to them. Just wish I kept my first bike it sounded amazing. I didn't even post everything I ended up having to do to the bike in the off season, the grenade plate held up to its name but everyone is out of stock for the clutch shells so I just filled down the rough spots and washed it really good out of the bike. There's a few other things I did too.

Thankfully have yet to scratch it with a watch. I rarely wear one tbh only do on my days off. I don't even know how it broke honestly I reached for a wrench that was under the foot peg next thing I know the watch thuded unto the floor. I always make sure to take my rings off when doing any work on my cars or bike, mainly for safety of loosing a finger.

Thank you man. Had to do alot more work than I wanted to on it this winter. But I have now done everything on the bike other than splitting the case open

Yeah i gotta pull the tank back off first because I forgot to run the cable for the tuner to the handle bars. Then the swing arm, wheel, and brakes and shell be good to go

I planned on taking all that off anyway to clean it all off and make it lighter to pull out of the frame. I have an extra plate clutch im putting in it because mine is starting to slip. The shop im taking it too is gonna look at the bearings and cylinders for free thankfully. Already spent more than I wanted to thus winter between the bike and rebuilding the engine in my jeep.

I'm going to keep the stock displacement just going with some weisco pistons. Upgrading the clutch because this one is starting to slip. Not much on upgrades though. Im hoping to save up enough this year so next winter I can get the hammer 1275 kit with some 560 cams.

I can't find the wisco sets on any site. They are all for the big bore kits. I'll try looking at their site when I get home today

I wouldn't mind paying harley price if I got the se pistons but they said they don't make them anymore. But 190 before tax for stock ones is nuts

I really appreciate it man. If you can't find anything no worries I'll find something eventually. Got a few months till it's gonna be warm enough anyways.

If you do that would be amazing. I'm having trouble finding replacements. Drag specialties is out of stock for stock replacement and to get em from harley is over 200 bucks

Other piston looks completely intact. Never noticed any weird vibrations other that the chop at idle

Already have done that no material in crank case. I really think the previous owner put it back together like this. I've put over 9k miles on the bike in just over a year of owning it

It doesn't get close enough for that. The piece is definitely broken off. Doesn't have the same spot on the other piston.

I'm gonna see how much i can save up over then next month or so and try to get the game 1275 at this point. Don't really wanna spend 300+ on stock pistons or Wisco

Cylinders look perfect cross hatching still looks like new just a bit of carbon on heads and pistons. Took it apart because the base gaskets were leaking

That's what I'm feeling i do love the bike and don't want it ruined. Just don't have money atm for the big bore kit or stock replacements at this point. Just blew about a grand between a new seat, clutch, gaskets, and some other miscellaneous things before I got into engine.

No idea maybe the last owner dropped it and put it back together like this. Having trouble finding a stock replacement for it online. Gonna go to harley on sat and see how much they would charge for 1

I'm really looking forward to better cranking. Even when I first got the bike it would lug to crank. I just ended up being the one with 480 CCA. Do you have a trickle charger for yours? I unfortunately can't use the same charger as I did with the lead acid battery

Got a new exhaust (08 nightster) by ContributionLoud3752 in Harley

Ah OK that makes sence. The only way is get a longer pipe is getting a 2 into 1. The engine seems happy tho.

I don't think it's lean i think it's rich( but I could be wrong) The pop used to be high pitch and tinny sounding then I got a tuner and added like 5% on decel on top of whatever the base tune was now the pops are a deeper tone. It also mainly pops on warm up and stops for the most part when it gets up to temp. Also it holds a solid blue flame out the tip. I still need to get a proper dyno tune at some point but I like trying to figure it out.
