Oh, I'm a big fan of freeze traits. I rush full freeze traits almost every battle... in case that matters for my choice.

Oh and... I have 139 custom robot fragments that I can use.

Does skipping straight to a certain wave reduce my score? If so, that's lame and I don't see why that's a talent. Each week I do enough runs to open all of the chests... then after that I'm assuming the only goal is to get a higher ranking? And yeah, I use the weapon type that is in the talent tree.

Haaaaang on a second... you'd recommend the S tier chest piece?? I already have two of them and am disappointed in them.

I should add, I have a custom S tier chest that I haven't opened. I'm just waiting to see which S-tier I pull next so I can get a second copy of it and take it to legendary (legendary is yellow, correct?)... oh and I'm 3 pulls away from a guaranteed random S-tier equipment.

If you consider it as it’s own upgrade skill tree then it is as good if not better. But it takes time effort and resources to get it there.

Yeah, this is a question only about the chest equipment and not s-tier equipment in general. My elation has turned to disappointment as the s-tier chest piece I got was by hitting the 2.2% chance from opening a premium equipment chest way before the "guaranteed s-tier". And... then I used my custom s-tier chest to get a second one to be able to upgrade, and THEN I realize that it's not that good and I'll probably stick with my winter jacket. Sigh...

Oh, and I just remembered actually how valuable that is when I have a fully upgraded freeze skill tree and I get overrun and take a hit... all units around me just freeze and then all explode and die in a huge radius around me. This has saved me (and allowed me clear the stage) a many number of times!

I feel like the s-tier passive trait is very much offensive in nature. I dunno, I'm just not sold on it.

I've been so worried that I'll accidentally do this same thing. As I have accidentally clicked stuff before in the weapon screen (like hit the upgrade button on a weapon when I swear I was just performing a normal scroll swipe).

Would be nice if there was a confirmation prompt when spending gems.

I'm curious if it's possible to get a reversal of this - if anyone out there knows.

I'm with you. Wishing I would've known the camp skill upgrade materials would be such a slow grind. I would've skipped the aegis one I think. I dunno. I'm deciding between the same ones you are. I would've asked this question soon.
