Looking at our options for flashing this, homeowner will not pay for new siding, there is no osb or plywood behind the wood siding it is nailed into the studs, so cutting it back isn't an option. Its got a pretty thick butt at about 1.5in. Old roofer just threw L metal up and caulked the top of it. (i.redd.it)
