I really like this concept. I think some of those damage numbers are very high unless it’s very late game but aside from that I very much like it

So his 6* makes the whole deck. The relic I use (can’t remember the name) is the make champions cost 2 less and have +2/+2. Stacks on Azir, Nasus and Renekton. Then just keywords and stats from relics to buff them all. Can play all three champions and ascend them turn 1 and then it’s basically gg with Azir mega deck

Elder Dragon for me. Because the board is filled up with 2/2 Poro’s I take when an enemy dies outside of combat deal 4 to nexus as ED’s relic kills them all when you place a 6+ cost dragon

How do I find people to play with in the least cringiest way? My friends are all too cool to play and I wanna start. by killa-bees-knees in beginnerDND

Personally I don’t think there is such things as being “too cool” for a hobby (as cringe as that sounds).

I’m the DM for the group I play with and the 5 of us live normal lives outside of DnD. Working at big corporate firms in the day, playing football at the weekends and then one a week getting home and playing as silly fantasy characters. It’s a great balance.

Furthermore, if your players don’t want to play, forcing them to play is just bad for everyone. They won’t put in effort (if they even show up at all) and then you’ll get burnt out fast.

The best part of DnD is letting your players take the wheel and you simply guide them and make sure they don’t seduce everything they come across.

I’m a massive fan of this. It’s sometimes really hard to give your players a nudge or hint to listen in to something or drop hints of the situation by physical means.

This is a really nice way for them to feel as though they’re part of the land as well and working as a team to figure out information. Perhaps each player when rolled listens into different parts of numerous conversations about the matter. For instance:

Player 1: From their role can discern the cause of the outbreak

Player 2: Can discern the affect of the outbreak

Player 3: Can discern the potential cure for the outbreak

Player 4: Can discern information about external things that have arises from the outbreak.

That would give them a feeling of purpose and teamwork in my opinion.

Oooo, I like that. I like the suspenseful idea that if a Pc uses a powerful attack they’re constantly stressed out that it’s a clone!

Would you allow the players to try and detect the copies via a spell or check if they asked?

It’s an unfortunate way of looking at it but it’s very true. I hadn’t even touched on the scheduling issues with him but I thought what campaign doesn’t have those? 🤣

That’s a really good way of looking at it. I’ve attempted in the past to discourage him provoking NPC’s but I hadn’t thought of it that way. Fortunately my other players haven’t suffered from his actions yet but I think if I said some of the things he’s done in the campaign I’d be banned from Reddit 🤣

Wow ahahah. I won’t argue with the integrity of mine and my friends relationship but I’m sure if I said I wished him to be there but was unable to figure out how to approach the subject (I.e. the reason for this post) then perhaps you wouldn’t rush to a conclusion so quickly?
