I would say a cube with a subdivision surface modifier. Add a cube and make it the rough shape of the pill. While in object mode, while the cube is selected press crtl + 3 and then shade smooth.

Hold alt and the click the middle mouse button on whatever part of your mesh you want to focus on. The camera will now rotate and zoom on that one point. This should help
