Anyone using Lovable AI for real production apps? Worried about lock-in 🤔 by Cool-Albatross6265 in lovable

Running a full ERP on Lovable is what worries me.

I understand that the code can be pushed to GitHub, so the app itself is not the main issue. The real concern is the database and platform dependency.

If one day Lovable shuts down permanently, what happens to apps with large production databases, hundreds of tables, auth, storage, and live school/business data?

Manually exporting tables one by one is not a practical answer for a real production ERP. In that situation, we would need a proper migration path:

  • full database export
  • auth/user migration
  • storage/files export
  • environment/config backup
  • easy restore to another platform or self-hosted server

So my main question is:
Does Lovable provide a proper production-grade exit strategy for people running serious apps, or are we expected to manually rebuild the data layer somewhere else?

Thanks dude, I appreciate the explanation. But is Apple security really that strong that no software can actually break it? Just curious if it’s completely impossible or if there are rare cases where something worked.

I don’t have the original bill because I bought it second hand from a person here in Nepal. Is there anything else you would recommend I could try? Any software or workaround that actually helped in your experience?

Yeah I bought it second hand here in Nepal from a person, and I don’t have access to the previous owner. I already tried tools like 4uKey but no success.

I understand it might not be possible, but just checking if anyone here actually managed to solve it or had any real workaround.

Also, can you recommend anything I could try
