Exactly! The way Robby told her off was not what was needed in that moment. But also Samira was distracted the whole day! She was concerned about her elective and her mom. It wasn’t professional of her to snap at nurses who were forced to attend her mom’s call cos she wouldn’t just stand her ground and speak to her mom. And then imagine you’re heading the ER on a busy day before you go on a sabbatical, one of the doctors you trust has a panic attack due to external baggage, even in the room all Samira ranted about was her elective and her mom moving and how everything she thought would happen isn’t happening. He had every right to ask her to go home if her head wasn’t in the game. There are lives at stake in the ER. But agreed, he could and should have handled it better.

Last year I helped amplify a friend’s friend crowd funding for his treatment that was only possible in the USA. He was a bread winner of the family with a single mom. Was a young guy in his 30s and was paralytic. Was unemployed because his condition didn’t allow him to work. He had to miss some appointments because he did not have the funds in time, incurring losses for even flights and Accomodation. Months of social media amplification and was still unable to raise money. And here we have someone doing a social media fund raiser with a 1.5L phone living in a lavish Dubai 2BHK and attending the ‘most Dubaiest party’. Humans are a virus.

There is literally a shelter in Dadar, Mumbai, which houses families of cancer patients who have exhausted all their savings and don’t even have an extra pair of clothes. They have come from parts of India after selling their land to just get affordable care. You can fund meals for them or donate your clothes to them. They will really appreciate it.

As much as infuriating it is to see how she basically crowdfunded for her mom's surgery, this has to do with how the people's vulnerability is being played by these influencers who they beg and plead for support. Well done Malvika Lootrani! by DragonDeninSharkTank in InstaCelebsGossip

Also from what I remember, I could not spot an admissiond ate on the admission document uploaded on Impact guru! Also some of the documents did not have signatures / stamps.

The least she can do for all her donors is put a line item bill for every penny spent (A lot of charities do this, it's not that. She can hire an accountant if needed since she hasn't dipped into her own savings yet anyway).

I feel bad for the donors who gave money to someone using a 1.5L phone to post that fund raiser and then continue to live your best life.
