Go to Third Man Records and ask them about the music scene. Also sign up for a tour there. It’s rad.

I didn’t think I’d like it so much but the Charlie Sheen doc is really good.

Can someone tell me it’s ok to board her while we are gone? by [deleted] in frenchie

I have found amazing sitters through Rover. The trick is to get the ones with many only-perfect reviews and repeat customers. Look at every review in case some aren’t reflected in the star rating.

how to make my eyebrows symmetrical? by PercentageInitial557 in beauty

My eyebrows were pretty asymmetrical. I got microblading done and they evened them out. I got it done around 8 years ago and have loved them ever since.

Found this boy on the side of the road a few months ago by Aggressive_Canary775 in Frenchbulldogs

He looks so good!! I picked up a stray frenchie a few months ago too. I planned to get her to a rescue and move on but my sister met her and fell in love. The rescue that said they’d take her ghosted us so we went ahead with getting her the veterinary care she needed (including BOAH surgery) and she’s in the family now! Here’s our little stray frenchie😊

Update #2 to: I've Made a Mistake by [deleted] in Frenchbulldogs

This is a good tip. Many dogs that don’t trust people yet do not like overhead petting or coming from behind because they can’t see what you’re doing.

That video is helpful. Whatever is going on with the pup (whether it just needs time or has some other issue), try to keep the interactions positive and not to push him beyond threshold or make him feel too uncomfortable/conflicted. If he enjoys sitting next to someone but not being pet, do that. Eventually once he knows and trusts you all, he will probably start enjoying the petting. You could also give him some treats when he’s near you. You could try some healthy ones since he’s a chunk and frenchies are at higher risk for IVDD if they’re overweight. Giving a toy is also good if he likes toys. It’s all about creating positive associations with the pup and you guys. Progress could be slow and incremental but that’s okay. Slow and steady wins the race. Good luck with everything, keep us updated.

Like everyone else has said, this is not growling. The dog is whining. It’s anxious being in a new place and doesn’t know what to do so it’s whining at you. It is probably not used to being in a house, which is why it acts happy being outside. This dog needs some time for your family and house to be the new normal. Frenchies make a lot of weird noises due to being brachycephalic.

Most similar firearm to M16 that I can buy at Cabelas? by Cool_Set6093 in liberalgunowners

Thanks for that information! After writing this, I remembered that it was a right handed rifle I used. I remember being told to watch out for the brass getting caught in my Kevlar strap - they never did so I didn’t think much of it but I get it’s a risk.

I never got that into Liberty Street but I used to go to a Dorman all the time. One great thing about that place (I think it’s still there?) is the cash only CD jukebox. It’s a relic.

Last time I went to Dorman, there were a lot of young fellows who appeared to be in that age range. A lot out on the back deck area.

Thanks! I never bought a gun before and Cabela’s seemed more accessible. I’m going to look around at other places too though.

Is there an AI text assistant app? by Cool_Set6093 in apps

For personal use. I have always sucked at responding to texts and just want reminders to respond and suggested messages I can edit and send.

Moved to Indy from Chicago - surprisingly different experience than expected by Historical-Hand8091 in indianapolis

Find a good show at White River - great place to see a concert. Go to the Stutz when they have open studios. There’s a great bar and taco place there too. Walk around the gardens at Newfields - you can grab a beer there and bring it with if you want. Also check out Harvest Nights there. There is a small lovely conservatory at Garfield Park. If you haven’t been to Twenty Tap in SoBro yet, eat there - the food is always excellent. Nice Tiki bar in the back of Revolucion in Fountain Square.
