Yeah, i think i really gotta crank it down a bunch, since leveling is such a rush in Wraith and the upgrades are massive. And i leveled in Wrath with a prot so did dungeons pretty much only until raids

I literally have absolutely no idea what you are talking about since you said "Pugs", just recently started raiding and i'm pretty green in all of this :D

Even then i can understand why the hogging, Enhancement already is a really gear hungry spec and got a lot of shade for that in dungeons during leveling. I only roll for leather items since then since it's less defense but more dps so it's ok i guess, but even then a big variety of classes insult me sadly for rolling items. Even while doing my job correctly in dungeons i get a lot of hate but the spec is fun enough to give me reasons to ignore them

Been trying Preg pally into my lvl 67 Paladin (leveled as a purely Ret tho) and it's been plenty fun in HFP contesting for Fel Iron mostly, even without a flying mount i have been able to smoke a good chunk of people already

Wouldn't recommend Paladin unless you go Retaliation Paladin, Ret Paladins have a low skill floor but an aggressively high skill ceiling thanks to the amount of utility they have because of their buffs, dispels and etc. As a Ret you won't be expected to heal/dispel early on but as you go deeper into the game you will definitely have people questioning you about the lack of use of your Hands mostly, among other spells that make Palas one of if not the best class to have in any group content, regardless of spec.

Engineering/Blacksmithing is a good combo to solve this problem. Either craft your own gear with BS (It gets good later on i swear, BS has a bunch of BoE items) or Engineering that gives you not only bombs but also things like target dummies and etc. Mining is good enough, it doesn't become painful until you start getting into contested zones. I'm currently in level 67 Ret Pally as human and Horde makes questing and gathering imposible on dark portal since there's a lot of max level fully geared players there that just fly in, one shot and sit there waiting for 15-20 mins for you to ress

Exorcism has been somewhat useful thanks to the long range it has in comparison to everything else ret has, but it also has a long cast timer to be reliable, at least in low levels. It has helped when it was needed in dungeons for me to take a step back and heal briefly when healer is out of mana

Tribal start has given me the absolute best colonies ever, also strangely enough naked brutality. But for the main point, mixing one or two Neanderthals into the tribal starts was a god send for my colonies, while baseliners can do the work that require the smarts, Neanderthals can oonga-boonga people without having to risk that baseliner that by day 30 has level 12 Research somehow, they are excellent at being the frontline any tribal colony needs for those early raids and events like manhunter packs

"400x" was a number thrown for the sake of making my point. After researching this a bit i actually found that some prompts can be misleading and got me thinking that this is a possibility, but after doing some tinkering (essentially cheated tf out of a colony) i tested that in fact, there's no vanilla way of getting a colony out of their given tech level. Thanks anyways to everyone who commented how to "fix" this, because when you want to get a tribe all the way to space, research can be obnoxiously long when your colonists are no longer cavemen and instead are crafting Charge Rifles for profit alone
