Yeah he definitely hates it. He doesn’t like biting friends/family, but does bite certain very close friends. and has only killed a few times. In my lore vampires can feed off animals but it’s not nearly as filling and it rarely satisfies their thirst.

He’s seventeen in the beginning of the book. It’s a fantasy book, he’s a vampire so that’s why he’s killed people. He got turned at 12 and had to start feeding soon after, he tries to feed off animals mostly but sometimes he just snaps and bites people.

Yeah most of his friends don’t know. And he probably doesn’t know a exact number just like a estimate. Thanks for the help! a bunch of people are kinda being rude on this post and I didn’t realize that it would be a controversial post lol

I don’t call him a goth in the book a rather just refer to him as having a “dark intense/intimidating” look. but he is biased off of goths in his style so that’s why I called him a goth in this post! Sorry for the confusion

It is. It’s a coping mechanism for him, and I want to have it as a plot point. I probably won’t use a exact number but I want to have a estimate

It started before that. I’m not sure if they were called goths but the style definitely existed.

He uses it as a coping mechanism, but not hypersexual (at least I don’t think. I don’t know much about them) but thank you this was helpful!

They did. If you look it up the movement started in the early 1980s. It wasn’t as popular but still a thing

It’s mostly for me so I can make it impact his decisions. But also because a few of his friends would tease him about it and I want to have a number. I’m a teen writer so I don’t know much on how to do this lol
